Over-the-door shoe hangers can hold dozens of pairs and make use of under-utilized space. Flexible shoe containers made of canvas or plastic with attached hangers allow you to hang your shoes vertically and are great for narrow closets with little floor space. Items such as ties and belts can be hung on special hangers and hung to the sides of the closet. If you don’t want your shoes piling up on the closet floor, shoe racks or closet door shoe bags should be installed.
